It is hand bound by solid black string with several inner blank white pages folded into small booklets that are all sewn together inside. Pages turn fine.

There is no writing or internal page damage inside. Both its outer metal slide clasps work perfectly fine to seal the book closed.
There are assorted slight wrinkles in the pleather cover on the outer bottom edge of the note book.
