The inside is very clean minus one pink pen spot on the fabric lining at the very bottom, but cannot see it from the outside at all. Or even visible to you even. The handles are magnificent there is no peeling as per the photos. This is still a very nice Kate Spade bag. Its actually one of my favorites!
